The Learning Hub is based on the work done by PEN (Participate, Envision, Navigate) and ASAP (Adopt a South African Pre-School) in the Gauteng province of South Africa and consists of an early childhood development support center and a library of educational toy learning kits. The hub supports all areas of the National Early Learning and Development Curriculum and our aim is to develop more of these much needed educational resource centers.
Our learning kits provide necessary tools to caregivers at informal community daycare centers to help pre-school children, ranging in ages 2 to 5 years, achieve all the necessary milestones before entering elementary school. With proper coaching in lesson planning and training in business administration, daycare owners and practitioners acquire new skills to enable children to thrive through access to quality education. Unsafe, unhygienic, overcrowded community babysitting centers are transformed into educationally stimulating pre-schools.
The learning kits consist of educational toys specialized for the preschool curriculum and each child’s cognitive, physical, emotional and social development.
These toys inspire creativity, exploration, curiosity, and imagination while also working on the child's developmental skills.
These toys are not only educational, they are fun!
